The
object was
discovered on October,31 2011 by

Laboratory ETS, New Mexico
On my images I couldn't detect any
cometary feature. But my assumption, that the object could be a comet, was
confirmed on December,29 2011
with
CBET 2960 (...if you have access to the CBAT Computer Service CS) and
MPEC 2011-Y51
With an hyperbolic eccentricity of e=1.0007164 the comet is just visiting the
inner Solar system for it's first time.

The object has a period of around 9200 years. Till now, no
cometary action is recognized.
On January 2 2013 the object will pass the Earth in 1.911 AU distance. The
apperant magnitude will be around 15 mag then.
